9 tbsp. butter
6 tbsp. shortening
1 c. granulated sugar
3/4 c. hot milk
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Cream together butter, shortening and sugar. SLOWLY add the hot milk, a little at a time. Add vanilla and beat 3 to 4 minutes. This is really a wonderful frosting for those of us who don't like it so sweet!
