CHERRY TARTS 
2 1/2 c. flour
1 c. softened butter
1 tsp. baking powder
1 (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
1 egg yolk

FILLING:

1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
2/3 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip
1 can cherry pie filling

Combine tart ingredients and knead. Roll into walnut size balls. Press into tart pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-15 minutes. Tarts should not brown.

Mix all filling ingredients except pie filling and fill baked tarts. Add cherry pie filling. Refrigerate. Makes 6 dozen.
