MUFFINS FOR THE HEART 
1 c. enriched white flour
1/2 c. whole wheat flour
1/2 c. oatmeal
2 tsp. baking soda
Dash of salt, optional
1/2 c. wheat germ
1 c. raisins or Carob chips
1 egg or 1/4 c. egg substitute
1/2 c. safflower oil
1 c. skim milk
1/4 c. honey

In a large bowl combine the flours, oatmeal, baking soda, salt, wheat germ, raisins or carob chips and 1 egg. In a separate bowl combine oil, milk and honey; add this to the flour mixture. Blend with wooden spoon. Pour into a paper lined muffin cups (12). Bake at 400 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
