CHOCOLATE CRACKER PIE 
3 egg whites
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. coarsely crushed Saltine crackers
1 c. chopped walnuts

Gradually add sugar to egg whites and beat until fairly stiff. Add all ingredients in order given. Bake in greased 10 inch pie plate 25 minutes at 350 degrees. When almost cool, take back of spoon and crush down into a pie shell shape.

FILLING:

3/4 bar German chocolate
2-3 tbsp. water
1/2 pt. whipping cream

Melt chocolate with water in top of double boiler. Cool slightly. Whip cream until stiff and add to chocolate mixture. Put into cooled pie shell and refrigerate.
