PIZZA DOUGH RECIPE | |
2 pkgs. Fleischman's yeast (powder) 1/2 c. oil (vegetable) 1 1/4 c. water 1 pinch sugar 3 1/2 c. flour (all-purpose) Dissolve yeast in 1/4 cup warm water and 1 pinch of sugar. Let it rise until doubled. Add yeast mixture, 1/2 cup oil and cup of water to 3 1/2 cups of flour. Mix well. Knead 5-10 minutes or until smooth. Let mixture rise in a covered bowl until doubled in size (approximately 1-1 1/2 hours). Punch down. This will make 2 round pizzas or one 9 x 13 inch pizza. Use with your favorite sauce and toppings. (Yeast mixture will vary with humidity). |
