BAKED LASAGNA 
1 lb. Italian sage sausage
1/2 lb. ground beef
1 pkg. lasagna noodles
3 (sm.) cans tomato sauce
1 green pepper
1 onion
1 pkg. Mozzarella cheese
1 pkg. Ricotta cheese
1/4 tsp. butter
1/4 tsp. salt
Pepper
Oregano
Garlic powder

Preheat oven at 350 degrees. Brown 1/2 cup green peppers, 1/2 cup onions in butter. Add sausage and ground beef - cook to completely brown. Drain.

Add lasagna noodles to 6 cups of rapid boiling water. Cook approximately 10 minutes and drain.

Place tomato sauce, remaining onions, green peppers into saucepan - add garlic powder, oregano, pepper - simmer and salt to taste.

Cut up package Mozzarella into small diced pieces. Place browned meat into tomato sauce and stir. Pour small amount of sauce into bottom of long casserole pan. Place drained noodles (1 row) into pan. Spread Ricotta cheese across noodles, add diced cheese, sauce - layer noodles, etc. Repeat procedure until pan is filled. Pour any excess sauce on the last layer. Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 40-45 minutes.
