1 yellow butter cake mix
3 eggs
1 c. oil
1 (8 oz.) can drained mandarin oranges
1 (8 oz.) container whipped refrigerator topping
1 pkg. instant vanilla pudding mix
Chopped nuts (optional)

Combine first 4 ingredients in large bowl. Mix well. Pour into 3 greased and floured cake pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes or until cakes test done. Combine remaining ingredients in chilled bowl. Mix well. Spread between layers and over top and sides of cooled cake. Keep refrigerated.
