TURKEY IN A BAG | |
1 turkey Salt Pepper 1/4 c. water 2 tbsp. paprika 1 c. peanut oil 1 lg. brown paper bag Thaw turkey to just below room temperature. Rub inside and out with salt and pepper. Dissolve water with paprika. Mix peanut oil with paprika mixture. Rub mixture over turkey. Pour remainder in large brown bag. Stuff turkey, if desired. Place turkey in bag. Staple tightly. Put in preheated oven (325 degrees). Cook 15 minutes per pound or peek to see if pop-up thermometer is up. Don't open until ready to serve. |
