ORIGINAL GREEN BEAN CASSEROLE 
2 cans (1 lb.) cut green beans or 2 pkgs. frozen (9 oz.) green beans
3/4 c. milk
1 can (10 3/4 oz.) condensed cream of mushroom soup
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 can French fried onions

Cook green beans if frozen. Drain. Combine with milk, soup, pepper and 1/2 can French fried onions. Pour into a 1 1/2 quart casserole. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Top with remaining onions and bake 5 minutes longer. Makes 6 servings.
