PEANUT BUTTER FUDGE 
2 c. sugar
2/3 c. milk
2 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1/3 c. peanut butter
2 tbsp. corn syrup
Dash of salt

Line bottom and sides of 9x5x3 inch loaf pan with foil. Heat sugar, milk, corn syrup, and salt in 2-quart saucepan over medium heat, stirring constantly, until sugar is dissolved. Cook, stirring occasionally, until candy thermometer reads 234 degrees or until small amount of mixture dropped into very cold water forms a soft ball which flattens when removed from water.

Cool mixture, bottom of pan will be lukewarm. Add vanilla and peanut butter and stir vigorously until mixture starts to thicken. Lift out candy and cut into 1- inch squares. 32 squares.
