PECAN PRALINES 
1 c. dark brown sugar
1 1/2 c. heavy cream
1 c. sugar
2 c. chopped pecans
Dash salt

In a pot over low heat dissolve sugar, brown sugar and salt in cream. Cook at a low boil, stirring often, until mixture forms soft ball. Cool slightly. Beat mixture until it starts to thicken. Add pecans. Drop batter from teaspoon onto waxed paper to form individual pralines. Let stand to cool. Yields 1 1/2 pounds.
