PRALINE PECAN CANDY | |
1 can evaporated milk 2 c. sugar 1 stick butter 2 c. chopped pecans Mix together sugar, milk, and butter in a large, heavy pot. Cook mixture at low temperature for 1 to 1 1/2 hour. Stir periodically to prevent burning. Test by dropping one drop of candy into cup of cold water to determine if ready. When candy hardens in water, add chopped pecans. |
