MICROWAVE PECAN PRALINES 
1 c. packed brown sugar
1 c. granulated sugar
1/3 c. light corn syrup
1/4 c. water
1 1/2 c. coarsely chopped pecans
1 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla

In medium glass bowl, combine sugar, corn syrup and water. Cook in microwave on high for 7 to 9 minutes or when mixture reads 238 degrees (soft ball stage) when tested with candy thermometer. Stir in pecans, butter and vanilla. Let stand 2 minutes. Drop by tablespoons onto well greased, wax paper lined cookie sheet; chill until set.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
