CARAMEL HONEY CRISPS 
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. honey
25 caramels, unwrapped
8 c. Corn Flakes
1 c. flaked almonds (optional)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine the butter and honey in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Boil 1 minute. Turn off heat and stir in caramels, stirring until the sauce is smooth. Measure Corn Flakes into a large greased bowl. Pour the caramel sauce over and stir until the mixture completely coats the flakes. Add nuts, if desired. Turn into a greased 9 x 13 inch baking pan. Bake for 7 minutes. Remove from oven. Cool, then cut into squares. Makes about 48 squares. Very good.
