GLAZED CARROTS 
1 lb. carrots (peeled and sliced)
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. ginger
1/4 tsp. cloves
2 tbsp. water

Combine sugar, cinnamon, ginger, cloves and water in sauce pan and cook until thickened glaze. Bring carrots to a boil until tender. Drain and pour glaze over carrots. Cook 15 minutes on high in microwave covered with wax paper. Serves 4.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
