GLAZED CARROTS | |
1 lb. carrots (peeled and sliced) 1 c. sugar 1 tsp. cinnamon 1 tsp. ginger 1/4 tsp. cloves 2 tbsp. water Combine sugar, cinnamon, ginger, cloves and water in sauce pan and cook until thickened glaze. Bring carrots to a boil until tender. Drain and pour glaze over carrots. Cook 15 minutes on high in microwave covered with wax paper. Serves 4. |
