KAREN V'S GLAZED CARROTS 
12 med. or 8 lg. carrots
1/3 c. sugar
1 tsp. ground ginger
6 tbsp. butter

Pare carrots and lengthwise in half. Steam until just tender. Cool. Combine sugar and ginger and roll carrots in mixture. Melt butter. Add carrots and cook until glazed. Serves 8.
