TURTLE CAKE 
1 Duncan Hines German chocolate cake mix
1 c. water
1/2 c. oil
1 stick butter, melted
3 eggs
1/2 can Eagle Brand milk

Mix and pour 1/2 of batter into 9 x 13 inch greased pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes. Melt 14 ounce package Kraft caramels with remaining Eagle Brand milk. Add 1/2 cup chopped nuts; spread over baked cake; add rest of batter and bake 20 to 25 minutes longer.

CARAMEL ICING:

1/3 c. butter, melted
1/2 c. brown sugar
3 tbsp. milk
Dash of salt

Bring to boil and cook 2 minutes, then cool 10 minutes. Add 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar. Spread on cake.
