1/2 c. butter
2 tbsp. sugar
1 tbsp. vanilla
1 c. flour, sifted
Seedless jelly
Powdered sugar

Beat butter until soft and creamy. Add sugar and vanilla; mix well. Add flour and mix. (Dough will be stiff.) Divide dough into 1 inch balls. Place cookies on greased cookie sheet.

Make a depression in center of each cookie and fill with jelly. Bake in 300 degree oven for 30 minutes. Cool and fill depressions again with jelly as desired. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
