BEEF STROGANOFF | |
4 lbs. sirloin steak, cut in strips 2 cans beef broth 2 cans cream of mushroom soup 2 sm. onions, chopped 2 c. sour cream Put 1/2 cup flour, salt and pepper in paper bag. Shake meat strips until coated, then brown in 6 tablespoons butter. Add onion and brown it in with the meat. Lower heat, add beef broth and mushroom soup. Simmer for about 30 minutes. Add sour cream and stir lightly until thoroughly heated and mixed. Cook 2 large bags of noodles according to package directions. Drain and serve wither as a bed for mixture, or mix together with stroganoff, and serve. |
