PORK CHOP ONION RICE BAKE 
6 pork chops
2 tbsp. drippings (fat)
1 c. uncooked rice
1 env. Lipton onion soup mix
1 can sliced mushrooms
2 tbsp. pimentos, diced
Hot water

Brown chops in drippings. Spread rice in bottom of 13 x 9 inch pan. Remove 1 tablespoon seasoning from envelope and sprinkle remaining over rice. Drain mushrooms. Save liquids.

Put mushrooms and pimento over rice. Add hot water to reserved liquid to equal 3 cups and pour over rice. Arrange chops over rice and sprinkle with reserved seasonings. Cover tightly with foil and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Serves 6.
