LENA'S CHICKEN PIE 
3 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. Crisco
1 egg
4 tbsp. cold water

Mix, roll out and line a deep baking dish, reserve enough for the top crust. Prick well. Bake in 450 degree oven until just done. About 10 minutes. Fill with alternate layers of filling and sliced hard-boiled eggs. Cut several holes with inside of doughnut cutter in top crust. Cover pie. Fasten edges well. Bake at 450 degrees about 20 minutes.

FILLING:

3 tbsp. butter
8 tbsp. flour
3 c. milk
3 c. chicken broth
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
4 c. chopped chicken
4 hard boiled eggs

Melt butter. Add flour. Mix until smooth. Add milk gradually, blending well. Add broth, cook until gravy thickens. Add chicken and seasonings.
