CHICKEN GUMBO 
1 pkg. Louisiana Gumbo mix
1 whole chicken
1/4 lb. smoked sausage
1 sm. pkg. or can tiny shrimp
1 can tomatoes
1 pkg. frozen gumbo vegetables
Extra okra, if desired
Salt and pepper to taste
About 1 1/2 tbsp. file

Boil whole chicken. Debone. With broth at a low boil, add gumbo mix; stir until dissolved. Add chicken and sausage, tomatoes, vegetables. Simmer 15-20 minutes, then add shrimp. Add file. Stir well. Serve over rice. Very good. Makes 1 large pot.
