CHICK PEA LOAF 
2/3 c. dry garbanzos (chick peas)
1 c. cooked tomatoes
1 sm. onion, cut in chunks
1 sm. clove garlic
1 tbsp. oil
1 tsp. lemon juice
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. McKays chicken seasoning
1/4 c. chopped parsley
1/2 c. slivered almonds, lightly toasted
1 1/2 c. cooked brown rice (or barley)

Soak garbanzos and cook until tender. Drain garbanzos and whiz in blender with the tomatoes, onion, garlic, oil, lemon juice and seasoning. Pour into bowl. Add remaining ingredients. Mix well. Put into prepared loaf pan. Bake at 375 degrees about 1 hour.
