BARBECUED SPARE RIBS
3-4 lb. rack of spare ribs

BARBECUE SAUCE:

1 jar chili sauce
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 can pineapple chunks
1/4 c. soy sauce
3 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 c. red wine vinegar
1/2 c. onion, chopped
2 tsp. ginger
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp. salsa (optional)
2 tbsp. brown sugar or honey

1. In medium size saucepan mix all ingredients of the barbecue sauce together. Simmer to blend 5-10 minutes.

2. Put ribs in large baking pan. Pour barbecue sauce over ribs. Do not cut up ribs.

3. Cook in 325 degree oven for 2 hours, basting often. Cut up ribs into individual ribs and cook 15 minutes more in oven or barbecue over medium to low coals until crisp on each side, about 10 minutes. Brush with marinade while barbecuing.

NOTE: Instead of discarding remaining barbecue sauce and pork drippings, save and cook a chicken the next day with same sauce. The flavors will blend together deliciously.
