CHESS CUSTARD PIE 
1 1/2 c. white sugar
3 egg yolks well beaten
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 c. milk
1/2 c. butter, softened room temperature
1 1/2 tbsp. cornmeal
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream butter and sugar together. Beat eggs. Add cornmeal (not sifted), salt, nutmeg then milk and vanilla. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes.
