CHILI (AWARD WINNING) 
5 lbs. ground beef
1 lg. onion
1 pod of garlic
2 c. water
1 tsp. celery salt
1/2 tbsp. cumin
2 tbsp. oregano
1 whole bottle chili powder (2 oz. or 4 oz.)
1 can tomato soup
1 (6 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 tsp. turmeric
4 tbsp. vinegar
3 tbsp. sugar
1 c. picante sauce
1 tsp. seasoning salt
1 pkg. chili mix (Williams)
2 cans beans (optional)

Brown first three ingredients and drain. Then add water, simmer 30 minutes and add other ingredients. Rinse soup and sauce cans with water and add water. Chili mix is last ingredient. Cook 4-5 hours stirring occasionally. (Best prepared one day early and reheated).
