LEMON BARS 
CRUST:

1 c. flour
1/4 c. powdered sugar
1/2 c. butter

FILLING:

2 eggs, beaten
2 tbsp. lemon juice & grated rind of lemon
1 c. sugar
2 tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder

FROSTING:

1 tbsp. Crisco
1 tbsp. lemon juice or more
Powdered sugar

Mix crust ingredients until crumbly and pat into 8"x8" pan. Bake 15 to 20 minutes at 350 degrees. Mix next five ingredients and pour over baked crust. Bake 25 minutes longer at 350 degrees. Cool and frost.

Mix frosting ingredients and add powdered sugar to make a thin frosting. Spread on bars. Double recipe for 9"x13" pan.
