1 c. mashed bananas (pour on 1 tsp. lemon juice)
1 tsp. lemon juice
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. sour or buttermilk
2 c. flour
1 tsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. pecans
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 lb. (1 stick) butter

Mix all ingredients well. Bake in 3 or 4 lined pans. Bake at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes.

ICING FOR BANANA CAKE:

1/4 c. milk
1/2 c. sugar
1 stick butter
1 tsp. lemon juice
Mashed bananas
1 box confectioners' sugar

Mix well, add confectioners' powdered sugar and make it creamy. Ice banana cake.
