SCOTCH SHORTBREAD 
1 lb. butter
1 c. cornstarch
1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
4 c. flour

Cream butter, add powdered sugar, add cornstarch and flour that has been together in small amounts at a time. Spread in shallow baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees about 20 minutes or until a light golden brown. Cut in squares. Store in tight container.
