CABBAGE CASSEROLE 
1 med. onion, chopped
2 tbsp. butter
1 1/2 lb. ground beef
1 tsp. salt
1 c. buttered bread crumbs
Dash of pepper
1 med. cabbage head
2 c. American or Cheddar cheese, grated
1 1/2 c. sour cream
1/4 c. wine

Brown onion, add beef and brown, season. Cut up cabbage into 1-inch pieces. Add to beef mixture with wine and cook slowly until cabbage is translucent. Add cheese and sour cream; mix thoroughly. Put in greased casserole dish, top with buttered crumbs. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes.
