OATMEAL BETTY 
1 c. quick cooking oatmeal
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
6 lg. apples
3/4 c. flour
1/2 c. butter
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 c. cream

Cut butter into dry ingredients with pastry blender. Peel and slice apples. Arrange apple slices and oatmeal mixture in alternate layers in 9 inch square pan.

Sprinkle cream on top. Bake at 375 degrees for 40 minutes. Serve plain or with whipped cream or ice cream.
