ITALIAN COLE SLAW 
1 med. head cabbage, shredded
1 onion, sliced thin
1/2 c. sugar

Shred cabbage and slice onion. Alternate the cabbage and onion in layers in a large bowl. Top with sugar.

Bring to a boil the following: 1/2 c. oil 2 tsp. sugar 3/4 tsp. salt 3/4 tsp. celery seed 3/4 tsp. dry mustard

Pour over the cabbage and let stand 4 to 6 hours. Stir and serve. Can be stored in refrigerator 2 to 3 weeks.
