CHESS PIE 
1 stick of soft butter
2 tbsp. flour
2 tbsp. cornmeal
2 c. sugar
5 egg yolks
1 c. evaporated milk
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Cream butter, sugar, cornmeal, and flour. Add eggs, vanilla, and milk. Pour into a 9 inch deep dish pie crust and bake at 350 degrees for 1 to 1 1/2 hours. If you like, take the egg whites and make meringue. Put on top after the pie is done. Bake until meringue is golden brown.
