CHOCOLATE DROP COOKIES 
2 c. sugar
1 stick butter
4 tbsp. cocoa
1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. quick rolled oats
1/2 c. flake coconut or pecans

In 3 quart saucepan, combine sugar and cocoa. Add butter, milk, put on medium burners, stir until the mix boils about 1 minute. Take off heat, add 1 tsp. vanilla, 3 cups quick rolled oats, 1/2 c. flake coconut or pecans.

Mix completely. Drop by teaspoonfuls on waxed paper. (I put waxed paper over newspaper so wax will not mar counter.) Let cool on waxed paper. These cookies are easy to make and very good.
