BEER NUTS 
1 lb. raw peanuts
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. water

Stir sugar and water together in a cast iron fry pan. Add nuts - continue stirring until all water disappears. Place sugared nuts on a jelly roll pan and lightly salt. Bake at 300 degrees for 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes.
