KRAUT SKILLET DINNER 
1 lb. ground beef
1 c. beer
2 c. sauerkraut, rinsed & drained (16 oz.) can
2 lg. cooking apples, cored, unpeeled, cubed
2-3 tbsp. brown sugar
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. caraway seed
1/4 tsp. pepper
3/4 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. apple cider

In 12" skillet, add ground beef and onion. Cook until meat is brown and onion is tender, stirring frequently. Drain off drippings. Add remaining ingredients. Heat to boiling; reduce heat and simmer, uncovered for 25 to 30 minutes or until apples are tender and most liquid has evaporated. 4 servings.
