PARADISE PIE 
1 can cherry or strawberry pie filling
3/4 c. sugar
1 lg. can crushed pineapple and juice
1 tbsp. cornstarch
3 oz. strawberry or cherry Jello
4 sliced bananas
1 c. chopped pecans
1 lg. Cool Whip
2 baked pie shells
1 tbsp. red food coloring

In saucepan combine filling and sugar, pineapple, cornstarch and food coloring. Cook until thick. Remove from stove and cool. Add bananas and nuts. Pour into baked pie shells and top with Cool Whip.
