POPPYSEED BREAD 
3 c. flour
1 1/2 c. milk
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tbsp. poppy seed
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. plus 2 tbsp. salad oil
1 1/2 tsp. almond extract

GLAZE:

3/4 c. powdered sugar
1/4 c. orange juice
2 tsp. melted butter
1/2 tsp. almond extract

Combine all ingredients and beat 2 minutes. Pour into greased loaf pans, bake 1 hour, 350 degrees. Pour glaze over loaves while still hot.

(I use this batter for muffins, also. Decrease baking time.)
