ANGIE'S CARAMEL CORN 
Popped popcorn
1/3 c. corn syrup
1/2 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
Chopped nuts, optional

Pop popcorn and put in large bowl. Melt together corn syrup, butter and brown sugar in large saucepan. Bring to boil and boil 1 minute. Add soda and stir. Pour over popcorn and mix well. Add nuts if desired. Stir. To make it crispy, bake at 300 degrees for 15 minutes. Cool before eating.

I don't think it will matter, as long as the popcorn is "popped"!
