PIEROGHI CASSEROLE 
8 potatoes, peeled
Lasagne for 3 layers
1/4 lb. butter (1 stick)
1/8 lb. Longhorn cheese
1/8 lb. Velveeta cheese
Milk
2 lg. onions, chopped
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper

Cook lasagna and drain. Boil potatoes. In microwave or in saucepan, melt cheeses in milk. Mash potatoes with 1/2 stick butter, milk, and cheeses. Add seasonings. Brown onion in butter. Put thin layer of melted butter in 9 x 13 inch pan to prevent sticking. Layer noodles, potato mixture, then onions. Continue layers with onions last. Drizzle butter over top. Cover with foil. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
