“CHOCO-MINT SLICES” IS IN:

CHOCO-MINT SLICES 
4 cups sugar
few grains of salt
1 (12 oz.) can evaporated milk
2 (6 oz. ea.) pkgs. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
1 (7 oz.) jar marshmallow creme (Kraft)
1/2 tsp. peppermint extract
1 cup finely chopped pecans, for rolling

Mix sugar, salt and milk in a large saucepan. Cook over low heat until sugar is dissolved, stirring constantly.

Bring to a rolling boil over medium heat. Cook for 7 minutes, stirring constantly.

Remove from heat; add semi-sweet chocolate pieces, marshmallow creme and peppermint extract. Beat until smooth; cool thoroughly.

Divide mixture into three parts. Shape each into a roll about 12-inches long; roll in pecans to coat.

Wrap in waxed paper; store in refrigerator until ready to slice and serve.

Makes 3 1/2 pounds candy.
