BANANA NUT BREAD 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 lg. ripe bananas, mashed
2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/8 tsp. salt
1/4 c. sour cream
1/2 c. chopped walnuts

1. Beat butter, sugar and eggs in a large bowl with mixer 3 minutes or until light and fluffy. Stir in mashed bananas.

2. Sift flour, soda and salt onto wax paper. Add flour mixture gradually to butter mixture; stir until well mixed. Add sour cream, stir until smooth.

3. Pour batter into well greased 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pan. Sprinkle top with walnuts. Bake at 375 degrees for 1 hour.
