BAKED APPLES IN BUTTERSCOTCH
SAUCE
 
3 Red Delicious apples
3 tbsp. light brown sugar
1/2 tsp. flour
2 tbsp. water
1 tbsp. butter
Cinnamon

Peel and core apples. Cut into fourths. Arrange in an 8-inch glass baking dish. Cover. Microwave on HIGH 4 minutes until apples are just tender.

Combine brown sugar, flour and water. Spoon over apples. Dot with butter. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Microwave on HIGH 3 minutes. Serve warm with sauce.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
