APRICOT SALAD 
2 (3 oz.) pkg. apricot Jello
1 (#2) can crushed pineapple, including juice
1/4 c. water
1/2 c. sugar
1 lg. or 2 sm. jars apricot baby food
1 (8 oz.) pkg. softened Philadelphia cream cheese
3/4 c. nuts
1 can Carnation, whipped

Mix Jello with pineapple, including juice plus water. Heat to simmer and add sugar. Bring to simmer and add baby food (may have tapioca) and cream cheese. Heat, stirring constantly, until cheese melts. Remove from heat and cool in refrigerator. DO NOT LET SET UNTIL FIRM. When "quivery", add nuts and whipped Carnation. (To whip, have milk, bowl, and beaters very cold.) Best made the day before.
