KANSAS SWISS STEAK 
1 1/2 lb. round steak, 1 inch thick
1 tbsp. dry mustard
1/2 c. flour
1 c. sliced onion
1 tbsp. brown sugar
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 carrot, sliced
1 1/2 c. canned tomatoes

Pound mixture of dry mustard and flour into steak. Season with salt and pepper and brown on both sides in hot fat. Place in small roaster. Mix remaining ingredients and pour over steak. Cover and bake in slow oven, 325 degrees for about 1 1/2 hours.
