HOT PEPPERS AND WIENERS | |
1 peck hot peppers 1 qt. tomato juice 1 (14 oz.) bottle ketchup 2 c. vinegar 1 c. brown sugar 1 tsp. salt 1 c. Wesson oil 2 tbsp. garlic powder 2 to 3 lbs. wieners, cut in 2 inch lengths Heat vinegar, salt, sugar, oil and garlic powder. Add peppers which have been cut into slices and cooked 5 minutes. Then add juice and ketchup. Boil for 15 minutes, then add wieners which have been cooked for 5 minutes. Cook for 10 more minutes. Put in jars and seal. Hot water bath 10 minutes. |
