Oatmeal Biscuits

It's an OK recipe. I used it twice the first time I made it as prescribed but for me (a diabetic) I found it was too salty and not sweet enough and on the dull side. My rendition I added 1/2 cup Splenda 1/2 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp cloves, 1 tsp cinnamon and 1/2 cup candied ginger cut up into 1/2 cm cubes. This gave me 18 soft flavorful biscuits. Thanks for a good basic recipe.
