OATMEAL DROP BISCUITS 
1 c. all-purpose flour
1 tbsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. shortening
1 c. quick cooking rolled oats
1 beaten egg
1/3 c. milk
2 tbsp. honey

Stir thoroughly the flour, baking powder and salt. Cut in shortening until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in oats.

Combine egg, milk and honey; add all at once to dry mixture. Stir just until moistened. Drop by spoonfuls onto greased baking sheet. Bake in 425 degree oven for 8-10 minutes. Makes 12 biscuits.
