MICROWAVE CARAMEL CORN 
16 to 20 c. popped corn
1 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. light corn syrup
1 stick butter
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. baking soda

Place popped corn in a large paper bag. Combine sugar, syrup, butter and salt in 8 cup batter bowl and microwave for 2 minutes. Stir well, microwave for 3 minutes, stirring after each minute. Add 1 teaspoon vanilla and 1/2 teaspoon baking soda. Stir well and pour over the popped corn in the bag. Shake well and microwave 1 minute. Repeat 1 minute then shake and microwave 35 seconds and repeat. Pour out on counter top to cool. Store in an airtight container.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
