MICROWAVE CARAMEL CORN | |
1 c. brown sugar 1 stick butter 1/2 c. Karo syrup 1/2 tsp. salt 6 qts. popped popcorn 1/2 tsp. baking soda Cook sugar, butter, syrup and salt on HIGH for 2 minutes. Stir and cook for 2 more minutes. Add 1/2 teaspoon baking soda and stir. Pour syrup over 6 quarts of popped corn in a large brown grocery sack. Close sack and shake. Cook in microwave on HIGH for 1 1/2 minutes; shake. Cook 1 1/2 minutes and shake. Cook 45 seconds on HIGH, shake. Cook 30 seconds and shake. Pour onto cookie sheets to cool. Break apart when cooled. |
